It started with a broken rod.
Founder Sean Mulligan, licensed Captain a lifelong angler and custom gear enthusiast. After calling around, he was met with the same frustrating answer everywhere: 4 to 8 weeks for repairs. That wasn’t going to cut it.
So, he fixed it himself.
What began as a personal workaround quickly became a passion. Sean started restoring rods for friends, experimenting with wrapping techniques, different epoxy types, and intricate designs. When his garage started filling up with blanks to wrap, he teamed up with longtime friend and operations strategist Christopher Vandepas to turn a hobby into a high-speed, high-quality rod repair and customization business.
